और किसी भी अन्य क्षेत्र, खेल, कला, विज्ञान, हर क्षेत्र में यही असल जरूरत होगी। कल्पना करिये की एक ही स्कुल एक क्रिकेटर, वैज्ञानिक, गायक, अभिनेता, पुलिस अफसर को इस तरह का अभ्यास एक ही साथ कैसे दे पायेगा? इसलिए हमारा सपना है की एक शहर स्कुल बन जाए, जहां हर एक छात्र को उसकी इच्छा के नुसार ऐसी जगह वक्त बिताने और सीखने का पूरा समय मिले जहां उसके पसंद की चीज होती हो। हमारे शिक्षा-साथी उनके शुरुवाती प्रशिक्षण के दौरान नागपुर स्थित हमारी सहयोगी संस्था से परिचित किये जाते हैं, जो अलग अलग क्षेत्र में काम कर रहे हैं। प्रयास यह है की इस पहचान से ऐसे सहयोगी प्रकल्प हम साथ में शुरू कर पाएं जिससे हमारे सलंग्न स्कुल के छात्रों को अपनी पसंद की जगहों पर समय बिताने का मौका मिले। १ जुलाई को हमें Makxenia के काम को समझने का मौका मिला जो हमारे मित्र दिक्षा खरे और मनीष मौर्या चलाते हैं। Makxenia एक रोबोटिक्स कंपनी है जो भारत में गुणवत्तापूर्ण रोबोटिक्स उत्पाद करना तथा इंजिनीरिंग के छात्रों को सक्षम, अनुभव आधारित शिक्षा मिले इसलिए काम करते हैं।
1 July 2021 – Players playing chess at national and international level practice the game for 2 to 4 hours a day from their school days itself. And in any other field, sports, art, science, in any field, this will be the real need. Imagine how the same school would be able to give such exercise to a cricketer, scientist, singer, actor, police officer at the same time? That’s why our dream is that a whole city should become a school, where every student gets to spend most of their time and learn according to their wish in a place where they have the things of their choice. Our fellows are introduced during their initial training with our partner organizations located in Nagpur which are working in different fields. The expectation is that with this introduction, a possibility of some collaborative projects is created which will help the students of our partner schools to get opportunities to spend time at places of their choice. On 1st July we got a chance to understand the work of Makxenia which is run by our friends Diksha Khare and Manish Maurya. Makxenia is a robotics company that works in India to produce quality robotics products and provide engineering students with effective experiential learning opportunities.

सहयोगी संस्थाओं का सातत्यपूर्ण प्रयास और Learning Companions के सोनखांब में भरवाड़ बच्चों के लिए स्कूल चलाने के दो साल के अनुभव के बाद पुरे भरवाड़ समुदाय में एक भावना निर्माण हो रही है की हर जगह पर अपने बच्चे पढ़ाई पा सकते हैं और यह आवश्यक है। महाराष्ट्र व्यापी शिक्षा यात्रा की संकल्पना को अपना साथ जताते हुए महाराष्ट्र में नागपुर, पुणे, नाशिक, सोलापुर, अमरावती, मुंबई, लातूर और धुलिया से तथा गुजरात में भरूच, राजकोट और अमदाबाद से भरवाड़ समाज के प्रतिनिधि तथा अन्य सामाजिक संस्था और कार्यकर्ताओं ने साथ में आकर शिक्षा के ऊपर बातचीत और अगले कुछ उपक्रमों का नियोजन किया।
3 July 2021 – Continuing efforts of Mr. Ramji Jograna, Pramod Kalbande and other collaborators and after two years of Learning Companions’ experience of running a school for Bharwad children in Sonkhamb, there is a feeling growing in the entire Bharwad community that everywhere their children can get education and it is necessary. Expressing their support for the concept of Maharashtra-wide ‘Shiksha Jagar Yatra’ (Education awareness tour), representatives of Bharwad community and other social organizations and activists from Nagpur, Pune, Nashik, Solapur, Amravati, Mumbai, Latur and Dhulia in Maharashtra and Bharuch, Rajkot and Ahmedabad in Gujarat came together to talk about education and planned a few next steps.

“पिछले तीन हफ्तों से हम सोनखांब में एक प्रयोग कर रहे हैं। किताबों को बिलकुल खुली जगह में रखा है और सभी बच्चों ने खुद किताबें सुरक्षित रखने की जिम्मेदारी ली है। कोई भी, कभी भी आकर कोई किताब पढ़ सकता है और फिर जगह पर रखेगा। ६ से १४ साल के बच्चे जो अपनी नोटबुक-पेन १-२ दिन संभाल नहीं सकते थे उन्होंने इतनी जिम्मेदारी दिखाना हमारे लिए बहुत ज्यादा आश्चर्यजनक और खुश करने वाली बात है। उम्मीद है की बच्चे इसी तरह उनके अध्यापक/शिक्षा-साथी का विश्वास बनाए रखें!
July 25, 2021 – Our fellow, Vrushabh, told us, “For the past three weeks we have been doing an experiment in Sonkhamb. The books are kept in an open space and all the children themselves have taken the responsibility of keeping the books safe. Anyone can come anytime, read the books and then keep them in place. Children of 6 to 14 years old who could not take care of their own notebooks/pens for a day, showing so much responsibility was pleasantly surprising for us. We hope that the children would continue to maintain the trust of their teachers/facilitators in the same way for times to come!

“आज समुदाय से तीन दीदी लोग हमारे पास आए और कहा की वह भी बच्चों को पढ़ाने में हमारी मदद करना चाहती है।” यह दीदी लोग पहले से यहाँ पर रहती आयी हैं। लेकिन दो-तीन हफ्ते से हमारे शिक्षा-साथी कर रहे गतिविधियों को देखकर उनका आज यह पहल करने का मन हुआ। हम इसी उम्मीद से समुदाय में काम कर रहे हैं की यहाँ के बच्चे, माता-पिता, समुदाय तथा स्कुल बच्चों की शिक्षा के लिए स्वावलंबी बने। जिससे किसी बाहरी संस्था को आकर काम करने जरूरत नहीं होगी।
29 July 2021 – Dhanraj, our fellow from Kuhi Phata said, “Today three didis from the community came to us and said that they too want to help us in teaching the children.” These didis have already been living here, but seeing the activities our education partners are doing for two-three weeks, they felt like taking this initiative today. We are working in the community with the same hope that the children, parents, community and schools here become self-reliant for the education of the children. So that there will be no need for any outsider organization to come and work.
